Personalised tailoring services

The French word "couture" means sewing or needlework. Haute couture is high-quality fashion design and construction. The designer or "couturier" creates models from a toile, made in fine linen or muslin. Garments based on the toile are then made up. Haute couture is labour-intensive and therefore costly. Some designers have licensed manufacturers to produce their designs, making way for inexpensive ready-to-wear lines that you can find in the high street shops. This is not our case, we design the garment based on your personal characteristics and tastes, you choose the fabrics from our own range of fabrics, and the outfit is made and finished in our premises. 

This is about exclusivity and originality. We source our fabrics from internationally recognised fabric merchants such as James Hare Silks (British leaders in silk), Valentino (Italy), Emanuel Ungaro (Paris), and Gratacos (Barcelona).
Sergio has provided his services for many of his customers for Royal Ascot, and his designs have been complemented by hats made by the famous milliner Graham Smith. 

The extent of a couturier's design input and fee depends on each individual situation. We are happy to give you an appointment to discuss the level of service you may need and to prepare an estimate for the cost of our service.

How we work?

Typically, we will invite you for an initial appointment, talk through with you the general style you wish to achieve. We will assess your personal style preferences considering your proportions and body line. We will help you to decide the colours and style that suits your shape and personality. We will then find a fabric, or if you have fabric of your own you wish us to use, we are happy to do this. 

Having chosen your fabric, we will guide you through the specific details of the garment by making a personal design for you. Once this is agreed we will prepare an estimate for the cost of the outfit. Once the estimate has been agreed, we'll then take your detailed measurements, which we can store for you for ease of future ordering. With details confirmed, and a deposit paid, we will create the garment to your exact requirement, specifically for you.
